Absinthe Tasting Adventure

Join our exploration of the mysterious and complex drink known as Absinthe. Discover the beginnings of Absinthe, the incredible popularity in the Victorian era and the malignment of wormwood that led to it being banned from 1912 until 2007 in the US and much of Europe. We have five varieties of Absinthe for you to sample, including two Green, one Clear and two Red. Learn about and enjoy our assortment of imported European Absinthes including aged, organic, and traditional varieties from France, Spain, and Switzerland. Discover the thrill of preparing your own absinthe according to the traditional French ritual and every attendee will keep a gold-plated absinthe spoon with traditional absinthe sugars. Make your own leather steampunk eyepatch. All the tools and materials are provided. After short tutorial participants of all skill levels get to cut leather, punch holes, and rivet together an eyepatch. You can stamp, color or, for an additional $5.00 each (paid directly to the presenter during the event), add a concho to customize your eyepatch!
