This code of conduct is being reviewed and updated as Old Tucson rules will not apply at WWWC10.
Our goal first and foremost is to provide a safe and welcoming environment to all guests, participants and staff.
Code of Conduct & Policies
All event tickets and vendor spaces are non-refundable.
Our ticket sales website does allow tickets to be transferred to another party. Please contact our vendor manager if you are interested in transferring vendor space purchases.
Guests may be removed from the premises for violations of these rules, Old Tucson (OT) rules or Hotel rules without compensation or refund. Security personnel from WWWC, OT and the Hotels have the authority to enforce all rules.
► Represent Old Tucson (OT) & Wild Wild West Steampunk Convention (WWWC) in a professional and courteous manner.
► No abusive or foul language.
► No fighting.
► No loitering.
► No consumption of illegal drugs.
► No lewd or lascivious behavior.
► No animals indoors or on rides, but friendly pets are allowed in the park.
► The park opens at 10:00am and closes at 6:00pm every day. No re-entry into Old Tucson after 5:00 PM*.
► Re-entry into Old Tucson is only allowed with an approved wristband.
► No touching of actors or sets.
► No modification of any OT structure or hotel structures, including graffiti or unapproved signage.
► No masks which impair vision.
► Weapons shall be inspected by authorized personnel for safety and peace-tied. (See “what items are prohibited”, below.)
► Any action or behavior that causes significant interference with convention operations, excessive discomfort to other attendees, or adversely affects the convention’s relationship with its guests, its venues, or the public is strictly forbidden.
Harassment & Altercations: Any form of harassment or altercation, including but not limited to verbal or physical between guests, participants, or any staff member (event or hotel) will NOT be tolerated and will be subject to immediate resolution at the discretion of WWWC Security or designee therein. Any incidents involving a physical altercation will be immediately turned over to local law enforcement. Harassment includes physical, verbal or unwelcome attention and will not be tolerated.
Property damage or theft: Any property damage or theft will not be tolerated. Individuals will be immediately turned over to Local Law Enforcement.
*Concerts are the exception and require a specific concert wristband to permit entry after 5:00PM.
What Items are Prohibited?
► Functional firearms are prohibited. (Exception: see SASS Member Policy † below*)
► Stun guns, tasers, phasers, coil guns, rail guns, potato guns, and functioning sonic screwdrivers (unless carried by an actual TimeLord) are also prohibited.
► Non-functioning firearms and props are permitted. If your firearm looks real WWWC Security will inspect it to verify that it is non-functioning.
► Nerf or similar toy weapons are permitted, provided no projectile ammunition is brought into the park with them.
► Generally, any potentially dangerous weapons will be prohibited, and “prop”, “costume” or “toy” weapons are permitted.
VENUE, CITY, COUNTY, STATE, and FEDERAL POLICY and LAWS: Individuals are reminded that WWWC conforms and abides by all Venue, City, County, State, and Federal Policy and Laws. Due to insurance, liability, safety and by choice at the discretion of the Organization some policies may be further restrictive than those specified by the Venue, City, County, State, and Federal Policy and Laws.
Items are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and the judgment of WWWC Security personnel are final.
